Hello, with the new folders in the group I figured the Ultimate Folder Guide could use an update and a bump. So, here's the original Ultimate Folder guide with the newer folders in addition.

In this Guide I'll explain what kind of photos that goes into the folders and which doesn't and what can happen when submitted to the wrong gallery etc..
*Just to be clear, when I say contributors, that's the co-founders included too!
NOTE: Please read this guide carefully, and understand it - if you ever come to wonder which folder your photo should be submitted to, read this again or ask the group for help - with either a note or a comment.
First; There's a difference from being a member and a contributor, which is the submission limitation and which folders to submit to. (+that contributors gets to vote on submissions)

> Contributors can only submit to these folders: Featured - Equine Stock - (+Contest Folders)
When submitted to the wrong folder, your photo will be declined! If a photo submitted to the wrong folder wasn't declined, the photo will be deleted from the group! When your photo has be declined you can always submit it again; to the correct folder that is.
***Please do NOT submit IDs or Scraps at all as those kind of photos are in a position that does not require group exposure. Thanks
Featured: This folder is only for the contributors, co-founder and the founder. Here goes all kind of photos, but NOT stock photos!
Members Featured: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: Horse photos that doesn't fit into any of the other folders. This is also the folder where 'Horse Related' goes under.
What will be declined in this folder: Snow pictures, BW & Sepia, images with altered colors, pictures with humans, riding pictures, foals and stock.
BlackWhite and Sepia: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: Black & White photos, Sepia will also be accepted! and other photos without color.
What will be declined in this folder: All photos which isn't B/W, sepia. Colored photos will be declined.
Unusual Colors: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: Photos that have been altered in color beyond the normal. {i.e. a BW image that retains color in one object or adding an unnatural hue to the entire photo}
What will be declined in this folder: BW, sepia, or normal/original colored images
Horses and Humans: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: pictures with people in it. If you have a picture of a foal with a people in it to, it goes here!
What will be declined in this folder: Images without a human and a horse in it or images that are BW or sepia.
In The Snow: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: pictures of horses in the snow, or if there just snow in the picture.
What will be declined in this folder: any pictures which doesn't have snow (and, of course, a horse) in them!
Foals: This folder is only for members!
What will be accepted in this folder: pictures of foals, other with their mother. All photo which has a foal or youngster goes in here.
What will be declined in this folder: all folders which doesn't have either a foal or a youngsters in them.
Equine Stock: This folder if for both members and contributors!
What will be accepted in this folder: only stock photos! These photos have to be in the category of :
What will be declined in this folder: ALL photos that aren't in the category of Resources & Stock Images!

Important! Gallery submissions...
Hello dear members of HorsePhoto-Club (https://www.deviantart.com/horsephoto-club),
Because I'm not longer online as much as I would like, I've decided to change the group's gallery submission rules.
From now on, every submission will be automatically accepted to the gallery. Still, I would like you to submit to the right and appropriate folder (you can read the folder guidelines for this).
As a member, you can submit up to 3 submissions per week, to all folders except 'Featured' and old contest folders. You can suggest up to 3 favorites per week, all will be accepted.
As a contributor, you can submit up to 5 submissions per week, only to the 'Featured' and 'Stock' folder (that

A new contest?
It's been a long time since the group has had any contests, so maybe it's time for that again? :giggle:
That's why I would like to hear your thoughts on new contests, would you even participate? Would you like to be a judge? Do you have some kind of theme in mind? Or would you just like our old contest "The Photo Challenge Game" to be back on a monthly basis?

Inactive-ness
I'll talk about the big elephant in the room, this group has been inactive for over a year now. It's my fault I know. But I didn't start the group so it would run itself. I started the group because I wanted to create a fun and exciting place, where people could submit their photos, talk and get advice from each other and become better photographers or find inspiration. I want be talking about why the group has been inactive, because that doesn't matter - it just has.
